Information Assurance Group (IAG)

Information Assurance Group (IAG) is a research group led by professor Janusz Gorski focusing on the IT risks and trust management. The research activities of IAG concentrate around the concept of Trust Case and the related development methodology. In relation to this IAG is developing several more specific methods and techniques that aim at strengthening trust guarantees. The approach is presently tested in several case studies, including drug distribution and application processes in a hospital environment, lifestyle and health supporting services and e-signature infrastructure. Previous experience of the group includes safety analyses of computerized systems applied to the domains of nuclear energy, electricity transmission and railway systems.
